Biographical Information DOUGLAS G. SCHMUCKER Doug Schmucker teaches in the Dep’t. of Engineering at Western Kentucky University. He graduated from Valparaiso University with a B.S.C.E. in 1990 and earned M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Stanford University in 1991 and 1996, respectively. He has taught courses in mechanics, structural analysis and design, materials, soil mechanics, hydrology, probability and statistics at Penn State, Valparaiso, and Western Kentucky universities.
