REBECCA BRENT Rebecca Brent is an education consultant specializing in effective teaching practices in higher education, Codirector of the Faculty Development Program in the NSF-sponsored SUCCEED Coalition, and Adjunct Associate Professor of Education at East Carolina University. She is also codirector of the National Effective Teaching Institute.

RICHARD FELDER Richard Felder is Hoechst Celanese Professor (Emeritus) of Chemical Engineering at North Carolina State University and Faculty Development Codirector of the NSF-sponsored SUCCEED Coalition. He is co-author of Elementary Principles of Chemical Processes (Wiley, 2000), a Fellow Member of the ASEE, and codirector of the National Effective Teaching Institute.
