JUDSON J. SINGER Judson is lecturer of Mechanical Engineering at Kettering University (formerly GMI Engineering & Management Institute) in Flint, Michigan. Kettering graduates the largest number of mechanical engineering students in the United States. U.S. News & World Report magazine rates Kettering as one of the top 8 engineering schools without a doctoral program in the U.S. Judson J. Singer additionally served as Webmaster for the Department of Mechanical Engineering from 1995-1997 and will resume that position in March of 2001. In this capacity he originated, developed, and maintained the largest and most comprehensive academic department web site at Kettering University. The author has lived for extended periods in Hawaii, Africa, the West Coast, East Coast, Midwest, and South. The author has taught students from pre-K through eighth grade and high school seniors nationally and internationally. The author has worked nationally and internationally as a sculptor, painter, and musician, having performed on numerous radio and television programs and exhibited art work at national and international art festivals. He specializes in computer graphics and animation and in development of content and curricula for technology based educational products, including web sites for courses delivered on & off campus (synchronously & asynchronously). Judson served over two years on the curriculum development committee of Kettering University's Asynchronous Learning Team.
