Abstract

We describe a flipped-classroom teaching method that is particularly simple to implement and that has the potential to reap great benefits for students and instructors alike. The method is due to David Pengelley, who developed it for in-person mathematics courses. We explain how it may be adapted to online and hybrid courses, and we do not assume that the subject of the course is mathematics.
